While hatha yoga involves strengthening and stretching positions, the relaxation version focuses on the latter, taking the student through a relaxing and rejuvenating practice.
Each class begins with conscious breathing meditation or breathing techniques and ends with relaxation in Shavasana (corpse pose). It is suitable for those who want a slow, static physical practice that allows them to work deeply with their bodies and focuses on releasing joint and muscle tension.
