Sirmione and Lugana

The peninsula of poets: between art, history and a territory of famous wines

Sirmione and Lugana

A strip of land with a unique shape extends elegantly into Lake Garda for about four kilometres, leaving behind an extensive hinterland, furrowed by rows of vineyards and olive groves: it is the peninsula of Sirmione.

Its clayey soil and its mild temperatures have supported for centuries the cultivation of vines and grapes in this area, strengthening over time its enological tradition and exalting its Mediterranean aspect.

The lands of Lugana and the morainic hills have thus made the south coast of Lake Garda a fundamental stop for lovers of wine and taste. Visits to renowned wineries, events in the vineyard and cooking classes in historic farmhouses will allow you to taste the tradition of this territory in an authentic way.

This peninsular region is intrinsically linked to the water: you can see and "feel" it yourself, on board of wonderful boat tours by motorboat or immersing yourself in the life of Sirmione along its beaches, in its spas, in its historical residences. We offer you a privileged and 360-degree view of the entire lake basin.
