Description
For years we have been exploring the shores and hinterland of Lake Garda, its minor roads and places of interest, to put together some perfect tours for you to fully enjoy the wonders of this area. We choose for you the most scenic and naturalistic routes with the least traffic and parking difficulties, and which include the right place to have lunch on your route.
In this way, you will be able to freely enjoy a day full of emotions and beautiful discoveries, without wasting time and without running into the typical inconveniences of improvisation.
When you arrive in Moniga, the starting point of the tour, we will show you how to download the app with the chosen route onto your smartphone: You can then decide for yourself whether to follow the route in full, in part, or whether to stop at all the stops or skip some.
This 120 km tour offers you the most pleasant and interesting way to go around the lake, enjoying the most beautiful panoramic views from both shores of Lake Garda. You cross it by ferry from Toscolano Maderno and buy the ticket on the spot at a reduced price.
You will then arrive on the other side of the lake in Torri del Benaco, and start the climb to San Zeno di Montagna on Monte Baldo, where you can have lunch in a farmhouse on a natural balcony overlooking Lake Garda and taste typical local farm products. A table is already reserved: a starter, a first course, a glass of wine, water and an espresso are waiting for you.
After lunch, the route heads north, skirting the lakeshore to the famous Strada della Forra on the shores of Brescia: you will reach Alpe del Garda, where you can buy and taste the local cheeses and cured meats produced in the historic cheese dairy.
Finally, you return to Moniga on hilly paths, from where you have a magnificent view of the lake and the vineyards and olive groves.
