Description

An engaging experience for those who want to learn about traditional Brescian cuisine by taking part in a cooking class to be held at a historic farmhouse in the Lugana area. An engaging way to discover the culture of the area by following family recipes. But by attending it as a couple, the ingredient of conviviality is added.

You will visit the heart of this PDO area renowned for its white mineral and landscape. Elisa and Mamma Raffaella will guide you through this experience of taste and that typical culinary activity of the Italian tradition, home-made pasta.

The cookery course will start with picking of vegetables in the garden, then you will follow a very homemade but not at all obvious recipe for the preparation of fresh pasta.

Elisa and Raffaella will choose the best zero km ingredients with you and teach you the techniques for preparing the dough and rolling it out with a rolling pin, helping with your manual dexterity in every step.

In a morning of full of cooking, you will prepare two types of pasta, tagliatelle and stuffed pasta, and a typical Mantuan dessert, the 'sbrisolona', and then enjoy the fruits of your labour accompanied by a fine glass of Lugana wine, produced on the farm.
