Description
An itinerant walk in small groups, along a slow walking route, which will allow you to experience sharing and grasping the details of this magnificent territory: an intense and stimulating itinerary that begins and ends with the tasting of typical Valtenesi products, whose history, origins and provenance you will discover.
During the excursion, a wine local guide, sommelier and connoisseur of the local food and wine excellence, will guide you in this tasting experience along white roads, paths and mule tracks in a 12-kilometre loop from San Felice del Benaco to the municipality of Puegnago.
The experience begins with a visit to an oil mill and ends at lunchtime with a tasting in the cellar of three wines accompanied by simple, light food and is enriched by the story of the denominations of origin, an intangible heritage in which the Garda hinterland excels.
A 'route' of taste, itinerant and partly panoramic, which will allow you to get to know a high-quality food production, the result of the cultivation of vines and olive trees.

Clothing and gear and other notes
What to bring: layered clothing with a light jersey, preferably made of breathable material; a waterproof windbreaker or rain cape in case of bad weather; comfortable rucksack with at least one litre of water; waterproof hiking shoes with a treaded sole. Hiking poles, a hat, sunglasses and sun cream are recommended.
Requirements: to behave in a disciplined manner throughout the event, respecting people and private property and following the guide's instructions. The excursion aims to relax and disconnect from the daily routine: participants are asked to keep their mobile phone ring tones deactivated; if necessary, they can leave the group for a while.
Level of difficulty
An experience suitable for those who feel like tackling a walk lasting several hours. The route is not difficult and can be tackled by everyone. Maximum height difference 154 metres. The long stop halfway along the route for a tasting will allow you to rest. The itinerary does not present any particular criticality: the difference in height is concentrated in two points of ascent/descent, for the rest it is flat.
Age permitted: children and young people aged 8 years and over may participate, provided they are in the care of a guardian and used to long walks: the tasting, designed especially for them, will be based on grape juice.
Restrictions on participation
Categories excluded: people with physical disabilities
