Description

Do you love art and don't want to give it up even on holiday? Or are you looking for an activity to do alone, with friends, or with the whole family when it rains at Lake Garda and you don't know what to do? Whatever the scenario, a watercolour course with experienced artists is perfect to try out your skills and let your imagination run wild.

Watercolour is a very fascinating painting technique, suitable for everyone, but it requires adequate preparation to create real works of art. This is exactly what watercolour courses are for. In this activity, you will therefore discover how to choose materials, how to define the design and how to use watercolours.

After the theoretical notions, you will try your hand at the actual execution. If you already have a drawing background, you will be able to execute your idea and then be supported technically. If, on the other hand, you are entering the world of illustration for the first time, you will be provided with images as a model. At the end of the activity you can take your work home, frame it and then hang it in your studio or living room.

A perfect experience for those who want to test their artistic potential in the vast world of illustrative arts, but also for those who wish to express their own style without constraints and give shape to a personal creative idea. An opportunity to try your hand at an ancient art that still retains its tradition and manual skills.

The watercolour course we offer is suitable for both beginners and slightly more experienced artists. Moreover, it is open to everyone: adults, children and teenagers. In fact, it can be a great experience to share as a family, immersed in the eclectic and stimulating environment of an art studio.

You will be welcomed by a professional artist with various collaborations on the international scene, specialising in art courses for children and young people, and of course for adult beginners, novices and experts.

Extra tip: after the watercolour course, you can treat yourself to a trip to the medieval village of Ponti sul Mincio, in the hinterland of Peschiera del Garda. This place, where the art studio is located, has been awarded the Orange Flag for its historical and cultural heritage and the characteristic atmosphere you can breathe walking through the historic streets.

A course to learn how to paint in watercolour

  • What materials are included in the course, do I need to bring something of my own?

All materials needed to participate in the watercolour course, such as paints, brushes and canvases, are provided directly by the art studio.

  • What specific watercolour painting techniques will be taught during the course?

Depending on the number of course participants and their level of experience, different watercolour techniques will be explored. The watercolour course can therefore be either basic or advanced.

  • Can you bring a friend or family member even if they are not participating in the course?

The activity is for participants only. For reasons of space, but above all because of the atmosphere that is created when you start painting, friends and family are not allowed in.

  • What additional exploration opportunities or activities are available?

The watercolour painting course does not include any additional activities. Those interested in creative courses can still discover and book the other NowMyPlace experiences designed for those who love art and want to stimulate their creativity.

  • Will transport services be provided to reach the art studio or do you have to organise your own transport?

There is no transport service, but one can reach the course venue by car or other means.
