The terrarium is a small ecosystem reproduced inside a glass container, in which plant life takes its course thanks to the right balance of humidity and care. In the glass terrarium, the various organisms interact with each other recreating the magic of nature, day after day.

The NowMyPlace terrarium courses are taught by the owner of a floral workshop, an experienced botanist who, romantically, prefers to call herself a green artisan. She will welcome you into her creative boutique to guide you through the creation of a plant terrarium. Obviously, placing the different plants inside a glass vase requires a little patience and care, but no fear! At the end of this zen path you will obtain an original work, made entirely by you (and you will be proud of yourself, we guarantee it!).

Botany will engage you with its enthralling passion to give you a unique creative experience and provide you with all the materials you need to build your own plant terrarium to take home. This is a favourite activity for creative people, perfect for those who like to get involved with manual skills. It is suitable for everyone, both adults and children from the age of 10. How is the terrarium course at Lake Garda?

• What plants and materials will be available for creating the terrarium?

To make the terrarium, the courses involve the use of different plants and materials. Everything depends on seasonal availability: each time the activity allows you to create something unique. It can therefore also be repeated several times!

• Can everyone choose which plant to put in the glass terrarium?

The terrarium with plants can certainly be customised. It can be constructed by choosing from the many proposals offered by the flower designer.

• Are there options for customising the terrarium during the course?

Of course. The creation of the terrarium enclosed in a glass jar is absolutely personal and will also depend on your creativity.

• Is it necessary to bring a container to pack the terrarium to take home?

No, packaging is not needed. If it is needed, however, appropriate packaging will be delivered directly to the site.

• Will transport services be provided to reach the floral workshop or do you have to organise your own transport?

We do not offer a transport service for the activity. The floral workshop is easy to reach by own transport, taxi or other transport services.  

Comfortable clothing is recommended but also take into account the possibility of getting clothes dirty.

The experience is also open to beginners.
