Description
Our walk starts out from Magugnano, a hamlet of Brenzone del Garda, along an old panoramic mule track which climbs up to the small sanctuary of Sant'Antonio delle Pontare. We will enjoy a panoramic view of the islands of Trimelone and Degli Ulivi even before we reach the sanctuary, the highest point of our hike.
We will then start to descend, still along a mule track, until we reach Campo, an abandoned medieval hamlet, rich in charm and history. After a stroll among its ruins, a few restored houses, the lovers' balcony, an old fountain and the ancient church of San Pietro in Vincoli, the walk will resume towards the hamlet of Biaza, also embellished by a small historic church.
From here we descend to the hamlet of Castelletto and return to the starting point by walking along the coast of Lake Garda.
